These terms explain the rules for using MEETO AI, including your responsibility to get recording consent, how billing works, and what you can expect from us.
01Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and MEETO AI (“we”, “us”) and govern your use of MEETO AI (the “Service”). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you're authorized to accept these Terms for it, and “you” then means that organization.
By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
02The Service
MEETO AI connects to your calendar, sends a notetaker to video meetings or accepts uploaded recordings, transcribes them, uses AI to produce summaries, decisions and action items, and can deliver the results to tools such as Notion and Slack. We may improve, change or retire features over time. If a change materially reduces a paid feature, we'll give reasonable notice.
03Accounts
You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your Google sign-in secure. Tell us promptly at admin@meeto.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
04Recording and consent
Laws on recording conversations vary by country and state, and some require every participant's consent. You are solely responsible for:
- Telling meeting participants that the meeting will be recorded and transcribed
- Getting any consent the law requires before recording
- Honoring participants' requests not to be recorded
- Following your own organization's policies and any obligations to third parties
The notetaker joins under a visible display name, and you can switch it off for any meeting. Neither replaces your duty to get consent.
05Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Record anyone secretly, or in breach of any law or contract
- Use the Service to harass, discriminate against or surveil people
- Upload content you don't have the right to process, or content that is unlawful
- Interfere with, probe or overload the Service, or get around its usage limits or security
- Reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product
- Resell or share access except as your plan allows
06Your content
You keep all rights to the recordings, transcripts, notes and other content you or your participants provide or generate through the Service (“Customer Content”). You give us a limited license to host, copy, process and transmit Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service. This includes sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
We don't use Customer Content to train AI models. You can delete Customer Content at any time from within the Service.
07AI-generated output
Summaries, decisions, action items, owners and due dates are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. That includes misheard words, wrongly attributed speakers or wrongly assigned owners. Review the output before you rely on it, especially for legal, financial, HR, medical or other high-stakes decisions. The transcript is kept next to the notes so you can check them.
08Third-party services
The Service works with third-party products, including Google Calendar, Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Notion, Slack and Stripe. Your use of those products is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them. If a third party changes or discontinues its service, the related features may stop working.
09Plans, billing and cancellation
- Free plan. Up to 3 meetings per month. We may change or end the free plan with notice.
- Paid plans. Pro ($15) and Team ($49) are billed per seat, monthly in advance, through Stripe. They renew automatically until canceled. Current features and limits are on our pricing page.
- Usage limits. Monthly meeting allowances reset on the first day of each month (UTC). Unused meetings don't roll over.
- Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Refunds. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
- Price changes. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before a price change takes effect on your next renewal.
- Taxes. Prices don't include taxes, which are added where applicable.
Enterprise customers may have a separate signed agreement. Where it conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement takes precedence.
10Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that creates legal risk or harms others. Where practical, we'll give notice and a chance to fix the problem first. After termination you can ask for an export of your Customer Content for 30 days, after which we may delete it.
11Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every meeting will be recorded or processed successfully.
12Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Each party's total liability arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don't apply to your payment obligations, your breach of the Recording and consent or Acceptable use sections, or liability that can't be limited by law.
13Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your Customer Content, your failure to get legally required recording consent, or your breach of these Terms. That includes reasonable legal fees.
14Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MEETO AI is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
